Peru was the main supplier of blueberries to the United States in 2021 with a market share of 34%, which was 3% more than the previous year, according to agrariape.
The United States received more than 310,000 MT of blueberries from different countries in 2021 for US$1.9 billion, which represents an increase of 14% in volume and 22% in value, compared to 2020.
Peruvian blueberry shipments to the US market reached more than 105,000 MT with a value of $659 million, showing a growth of 25% in volume and 20% in value compared to 2020.
